"Indeed We created man, and We know what his own self whispers to him."

O this heart of mine

She does not yield nor does she cower
She beats out her beautiful songs
And sings ballads of love
She empathizes with the fallen
She refuses to be pragmatic
She is trusting and naive
She is an idealist
She is stubborn, picky, loyal, and kind
She is honest
She is increasingly sensitive
She hurts and takes the rest of me hostage
She is scorn and I feel the burn
She is corrupted  and the whole of me is tainted
She is purified and all the troubles in the world are pushed aside

Riches Await You

You there who needlessly worries of future affairs
Riches await you
You only have to reach and in your fingers they ensnare
Riches secure, no need to devise any coup
Blessings shower from your Lord day and night
Ask without hesitation, you'll receive what you like
Wonders no man has dreamed of in his life
No worries, no grief will cast shadows over your delights
Beauty drapes itself over everything in your life
From your creator comes every joy
So give thanks for what you enjoy without strife
If only you could see through my eyes what being you looks like
Abdullah whose worldly life is too filled with light

Almost enough

Sometimes in the spring when the wind is just right you can pick up the scent of flowers.
I like that.
I also like that the mountains are the back drop to my life
and that I only have to drive a few mins to lose the city and its people.
I like winter days made mild by Chinooks.
These things almost help me forget.
